Ladle Turret
The ladle turret is a key equipment used for continuous casting process in the iron and steel metallurgy industry, which is mainly used to carry and rotate the ladle so as to inject the steel into the intermediate ladle and then into the copper mould to form the billet.
Main functions
Carrying ladle: Supporting the ladle which is extremely heavy.

Workflow
Steel ladle lifting: Lift the steel ladle to the rotary table.
Rotating and positioning: rotate the rotary table to align the ladle with the tundish.
Pouring: Open the ladle, the steel flows into the tundish.
Replacement of ladle: After pouring, the rotary table replaces the ladle with a new one.
Maintenance and upkeep
Regular inspection: check the rotary mechanism, driving system, etc.
Lubrication maintenance: Regular lubrication of the slewing support and bearings.
Safety device testing: Regularly test the limit switch and emergency stop function.
Cleaning: Keep the equipment clean to prevent accumulation of dust and debris from affecting operation.
